2014 Jewelry Trends – The Bloom Showroom Edit

The jewelry market never stops evolving, and new jewelry trends appear every day.

The main sources of inspiration are the red carpet, the runway and obviously the streets and how people adapt the styles they see in real life.

For 2014, we identified different trends that will spread through the jewelry collections.

The first one is abalone. This lustrous pearl fits perfectly in our jewelry sets and gives an instant touch of chic to any outfit. A nice change from all the colorful pieces we can see right now.

The second one is the Pantone Color of the year 2014: radiant orchid. Prepare to see this shade everywhere. Fashion, accessories, make-up, jewelry… Radiant orchid is all over the place. And we love it!

The third one is orange. It’s a classic color that we’ve seen in numerous collections this season. It can go from pop orange, to coral or even light peach.

The fourth is blue, in all shades and materials. This color has always been a hit when it comes to jewelry. This year, blue is taken to the next level with gemstones, precious pearls and colorful textiles.

Another big trend is yellow gold. Gold is a classic, but this year, the shade will be even more flashy and luxurious. Vermeil, gold plate, yellow-colored brass and even bronze will be the trends for this new gold edition.

Watch out for another big trend: the minimalistic and geometric jewelry. Inspired by the scandinavian style, these uncomplicated pieces give a more laid-back and stylish look than statement jewelry. They will enhance graphic prints, logos and tomboy-inspired looks. This trend is usually most associated with strong geometric forms like chevrons and pyramids as stated above.

Bracelets are the core of someone’s jewelry set. They dress up or dress down an outfit and give your look an immediate touch of glamour. All of our designers have extremely beautiful and refined bracelet collections to match every taste. From bangles to cuffs and even very wide models with refined materials.
