The April flower is the sweet pea. Sweet pea is a flowering plant, native to Sicily in the south of Italy and the Aegean Islands. It first appeared in the 17th century.
The sweet pea is an annual flower that appears in a wide range of pastel colors and also blooms in two-tone varieties and symbolizes blissful pleasure or departure which explains the message “Thank you for a lovely time” commonly attached to the flower.
The sweet pea can also be referred to as the Queen of Annuals. This flower is usually found in gardens as it is easy to grow and looks very beautiful and majestic, with a height up to six feet.
