Bindya always new she wanted to pursue a career in the fashion industry. After earning a degree in Accessories Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, she founded a small handbag company that later branched into pashminas. As the shawls became more popular, she ditched the bag line and concentrated on building a scarf collection. Now, more than 10 years later, Bindya New York is a thriving brand.
Bindya finds inspiration during her bi-annual trips to India and Paris, as well as on the runways and streets of New York City. Always on trend, Bindya’s designs and colors capture the imagination, captivate eyes, and have proven addictive in their fine quality blends.

Just a little more than a year after it’s introduction, the Lulla Collection is already being sold in some of the Nation’s top retailers including Nordstrom and Anthropologie, and has been featured in top fashion publications including InStyle magazine.
